TEAM DURHAM men and women reached the last 16 of the national knock-out cups at the weekend. The men had a stunning 3-0 win over Middlesbrough College (Northumbria Academy) while the women, currently heading Division 3 North with 6 wins out of 6, overcame Loughborough Students in straight sets. The reward for the men is a trip to Coventry Riga while the womem have a daunting visit to national champions Team Northumbria.
DARLINGTON HAUGHTON and NORTH RIDING EAGLES women were no match for Super 8 Salford and Div 1 South Birmingham respectively. CITY PREDATORS men made hard work of their match against Loughborough but still earned themselves a home draw against Super 8 leaders Team Northumbria.
