Concordia in control

CONCORDIA VOLLEYBALL CLUB currently control all three divisions of the Northern Counties league. BLACK SHEEP came back from 2 sets to 1 down on Wednesday against Marden Rhinos to record their third successive victory. BITTER & TWISTED haven't dropped a set in their opening three matches against 2012-13 champions and Tynedale youngsters Outlaws and oldies Reivers. They will be severely tested this Wednesday when Marden 2 visit Cramlington. SPECKLED HENS won their opening fixtures at home against Grangefield and Globetrotters then were awarded the first walk-over of the season when Sunderland University girls couldn't field a team last Sunday.  Their next match is away at Monkseaton on 18th November where they take on last year's champions who are on a 15-match unbeaten run.
